I encountered a blue being in one of the forest lakes today. I half-expected it to speak but it only sang, much like a Naiad. What queer creature is this?

Oh it sounds as if he's grown!

I don't think he would sit on your head then. He's always been very careful not to hurt anyone. He probably was glad of the company if he came to sing to you.

It may have been my horse that this Ellington wished to charm. He is a handsome stallion.
