Zach,
Hello. I am doing my best to send this to you in a format you know. I am unused to it but I believe you might appreciate the effort. For you I feel it is fitting.
I am still in this world they call the City, with the Pevensies. We are fast approaching a date in which we will move into the new house. Houses, as Peter would say. You should see it, there are many structures, garden paths, stone paths, views along the foot of the mountain, and the rooms are not in disrepair. Not anymore. It would be a very nice place to make "films" I think. It will look fit for Kings and Queens during the month of Christmas, as Lucy has decreed, which is also when we will be inviting our friends to celebrate our relocation. Should you find yourself in this place again you know you are welcome to come. Perhaps we can have one of your favorite systems prepared in the gaming room. I believe we have more than one. Peter worked on a room just for me too, filled with all kinds of books. There are books on history, books on poetry, books on adventures, and I will do my best to read them all in time. It is a wonderful space in shades of green with much sunlight. We have already made it ours, but really it is mine. He presented the room to me as a gift for my eighteenth birthday. That is why I write to you now.
I have never thought much of the number which admittedly makes me something of a hypocrite because I would be happy to celebrate anyone else's. Where I am from it is not like this, as I am sure you know or you have an idea. How we are to act at this age carries expectations a bit different from those of other worlds, like yours or Karolina's or Chase's. The Pevensies have made something of it. We had good food, good wine, and many laughs. I do not think age had anything to do with it as much as it was an opportunity to celebrate together. I had not considered asking others to join us, too many have been having a terrible time this weekend, but I would not have minded when not too long ago I did. I have tried to be unlike those of other worlds where turning eighteen is an important day because that is their world, not mine, yet now it is a day I will not forget. I have changed my mind on the matter, fortunately for the better. They have changed me like you have changed me. I hope I feel the same way when I turn nineteen regardless of how nineteen may not be as "special" as eighteen. It is special when you are surrounded by those who care.
I wonder how it will be in Narnia. You know I have no delusions of staying here forever. There I would have been prepared to organize a feast. The celebration would have functioned for diplomatic purposes as well as entertainment ones. This may change in the future now that I have had this experience or possibly I will keep to the royal tradition while holding these memories close to the vest to better brighten the occasion. I do not know yet, I think it is okay not to know. I live and I love, that is more than most anyone can ask for.
Well that is all I suppose. I could ask you several questions but I will try to do my research first. I hope this letter finds you in good health, if it should find you at all. Even if it cannot reach you in your world you are worth a try.
Until next we meet, your friend,
