To anyone I spoke with yesterday, last night, those I contacted by the 'telephone'...

...

...

...

I apologize.

[Chase knows which one of them would be subtitled on American TV.]

Not me. Do you remember what we talked about?

[Shut up shut up. Also, apparently Caspian is missing something important.]

I rode horses in front of an army while you tended to 'altar services'.

You bragged and I put up with it. After that.

I am not bragging, it's true. A good king is first in the charge and last in the retreat.

A good king sends himself out in the front lines? Must have missed that page in Sun Tzu.

Eden tattled first. On something she knew nothing about.

I don't know who or what that is other than not Narnian.

I see. I wasn't trying to cause trouble.

He was some ancient Chinese general. Wrote a book on battle strategy that's still referred to today. I've never read it.

You didn't. I just wanted to make sure you remembered there was nothing to it.

I doubt Xing-Ke would agree with that although in the Tianzi's case I do feel it is best she doesn't bear a sword. [Wait. Fff.] Don't talk about things you haven't read.

You do not need to make me feel even more foolish, I remember.

Covered enough battles in history to know if you lose the king, you lose the battle. Riding out first sounds like asking for an arrow in the eye.

I'm not trying to, it wasn't your wild leap in the dark.

No good king would have his army believe all is lost at the loss of one, whether that loss is a crowned Son of Adam or Aslan himself. I ride out first because a leader must be capable of facing the risk, and I am capable.

Nevermind what a drunken call may have you believe but you should take my word for it as I will be taking yours.

I wouldn't doubt your capability.

What is a 'tortilla station?'

That is an unfair question. I would know if I had found it.

I have survived without it for this long, I think I can endure for a bit longer.

I've never treated a patient with tortilla deficiency. Plenty for burrito overdose.
