[Have a not-so-accented accent.]

It's been some time since I've used this, please pardon me.

My name is Caspian, Tenth of That Name, King of Narnia. I have been away but now I've returned. If we've met, I would like to hear from you. If we've not, then please let's have ourselves a trade of introductions and pleasantries.

More comfortable here than at home? Strangely, I can understand that.

Oh, there have been sightings of big hairy monsters in the City. I'm trying to figure out both what they are and where they're coming from so we can hopefully figure out what they want and if they need to be -- you know -- they might be evil. So I'm research gal.

They're very different places but the longer I'm here the more I remember how here became like home too.

[Er. That's an actual pause.]

Hairy monsters? What do they look like? What are they?

Here hasn't had any impending apocalypses of doom so I'm counting it as a plus.

[She reminds herself once again that she needs to quit talking so much.]

Well -- I'm not completely positive of this yet but have you ever heard of a yeti? Or a Bigfoot monster in legend? I think that's what they are. I haven't confirmed it yet. Still kinda working on that.

Why would it? And no I've not heard of such a creature before, not to my knowledge...although I know of many with big feet.

Oh, you know -- it happens.

Well they've been sighted around the town. But recently they've been getting closer and closer to the heart of the City. They haven't attacked anyone yet, but with the sharp teeth they have, I wouldn't put it past them. Just be careful out there, okay?

...Are you sure they are not lions? Very big lions? What about dragons?

[Dragons aren't hairy, Caspian. Fff.] Thank you for your word of caution, Dawn.

Oh no. They're bipedal, not quadrupeds. The very big part is right though. Do dragons have fur? Stories say they don't but I've never actually seen one and I'm sure that someone here in the City has.

The ones I've seen have no hair but I wouldn't say dragons never have hair.

After this whole monster mess is done I think it would be kind of fun to research dragons as a kind of personal project.

You could read about centaurs as well. They're very wise and very admirable people.

You know centaurs? Nevermind stupid question of course you do. You're a very interesting person, Caspian.

Yes, there are many in Narnia, and one in particular as my general. I trust him with my life.

Thank you, Dawn... Are there no centaurs or dragons where you're from? Are you from here?

Well I was turned into a centaur one time by a Thricewise demon. But other than that I've never seen any, really. Not that that means they don't exist cause -- even though I've seen a lot, there are probably still a lot of things I haven't seen. Same with dragons, although I know they exist in other dimensions and realities.

-- I talk a lot.

Anyway I'm from Sunnydale, California.

[It's okay because throughout all that he focuses on one thing.]

Turned? How?

From: [identity profile] the-dawnster.livejournal.com
Well, magic. A spell. He cast a spell on me that's unique to all thricewise demons. It turns the subject into three different things. Centaur was one of the three things I turned into.

Are there are other witches and magicians in this world?

From: [identity profile] the-dawnster.livejournal.com
Oh yeah, there's a whole coven of wiccans and lots of demons can do some magic just by their very nature. Me? I can do a little, not much. You know, the spells that only require ingredients and words with minimal actual power.
