What do I know of Narnia? What do I know of Narnia?! Where else should I come from, if I am a Talking Horse? There is no better country for any free beast, not since the reign of the High King began.
I've learned my lesson, thank you, and there was no wandering on my part. I was snatched from the safety of Anvard in the midst of providing instruction to the Crown Prince.
Certainly not the Calormenes, unless Tash is more than a horrid statue they insist on raising everywhere. Apparently, one is to blame the city itself for being brought here, and there is no road home. Those who leave supposedly do so by a means that no one understands.
If you know Narnia, may I have your name? I am Breehy-hinny-brinny-hoohy-hah, though if it is easier for you, you may call me Bree.
Yes. Terribly vexing, that. I should like to think Aslan might intercede on our behalf, but he never does for you, does he? You're meant to find the path yourself.
It is pleasure to meet another who knows of Narnia. Where is your home?
My old master--that is, the Tarkaan who kept me in his stables in Calormen--claimed that the Calormenes colonized it seven hundred years ago. The campaigns never took us that far west.
No ... never mind. You may tell me later. You sound young for a human. Still a colt, aren't you? You must be tired ... but after you've rested, will you tell me of Narnia as you left it?

I lived along the Great River.

To the north, then.
