One can be a king and a friend at the same time. Why, things hardly changed at all between myself and Cor when he learned that he was a prince. In fact, I think the greatest difference is that when he falls off of me now, it's onto soft sand and not thich gorse bushes.

Generosity has nothing to do with it. I won't rest if a student of mine is not fully educated in the art of proper riding, and if he must fall off to achieve that, I'm certainly not going to stop him.
