War is completely needless when taking pleasure in the sound of your own voice.

Captain Barbossa, I will be able to continue working on the Black Swann tomorrow.

Kara, I hope that you are doing well. It seems Turkish Delights are infectious.

Pevensies, I brought tea.

An old lady of the sea it seems. I think the experience is a good one, should I attempt to sail out myself one day.

Would you? In my time, Narnia was quite strong and swift at sea, or so I am told.

I would entertain the idea, only after Narnia is settled. I imagine my disappearance isn't helping very much.

After a war? I should think not.

I have tried to find a way back but neither wardrobe nor chasm has proven successful.

I've noticed theories that those who try to find a way home are those who aren't granted one.

That is discouraging. Regardless, it is my intention to return to Narnia where I belong.

It's rather comforting to think that Narnia will have you for a king.

And yet I take more delight in having you as a friend and not as a subject, Bree.

One can be a king and a friend at the same time. Why, things hardly changed at all between myself and Cor when he learned that he was a prince. In fact, I think the greatest difference is that when he falls off of me now, it's onto soft sand and not thich gorse bushes.

I should hope so, granted my reign was short lived before this.

[A soft laugh.]

You are most generous, Bree.

Generosity has nothing to do with it. I won't rest if a student of mine is not fully educated in the art of proper riding, and if he must fall off to achieve that, I'm certainly not going to stop him.

I certainly appreciate the firmness with which you educate. I would not have learned how to unhorse without falling myself.

It's a lasting reminder.

[OOC: Silly Caspian. You're supposed to stay in the saddle.]

But it means little if you cannot pick yourself up afterward.

That would be the purpose of making certain the rider doesn't fall somewhere that hurts especially much.

[OOC: Especially not when he's looking backwards instead of where he's going.]

I am sure your Cor is most grateful for the precaution.

[ooc: I rewatched the movie like two nights ago, lol Caspian gets dragged several yards too.]

It still confounds me that you've not had much experience with Talking Horses. There should have been some left in Narnia, shouldn't there?

[OOC: Tsk tsk. Someone teach that boy about break-away stirrups.]

We had the assistance of mice, bears, a badger, and others. But not a horse, not yet in any case.

They'll turn up, I suppose.

Narnian mice are curiously valiant creatures.

Oh very valiant.

[ooc: Zomg idk, should pimp that out on the char request thread.]
