[She steps on his foot as hard as she can. And knocks another against the side of his head. Susan doesn't savor the results. Instead she turns away and dabs her eyes with her sore knuckles starting back to the flat.]

[Try to understand. Well that's definitely a lost cause! The foot on his keeps him in place, and he brings his hands up to shield his face. Her fist catches his eye, that's going to leave an ugly bruise. He stumbles aside but quickly regains footing.]
