It has been several days since I came face to face with this unusual situation. Now that I have had much time for deliberation, I think I can safely say...

Well... there are mountains to the north and south, beyond the southern ridges of Archenland is the arid country of Calormen, and to the east a great endless ocean.

What is Japan like?

Japan is an island, long and narrow. It was formed by a great chain of volcanoes, and there are more than a few still active, especially in the highlands. In the south it is temperate, and well there used to be forests. In the north, there are many mountains, and the climate is cooler. There are a few smaller islands that surround Honshu, the main one; most are inhabited.

An island, you must have many things there that I would never see in Narnia.

And likewise. The sakura--cherry trees are my favorite, though. In spring they bloom and while it only lasts a few days, there are festivals, and it looks like a painting.

It sounds lovely, Takiko. There are cherry trees in Narnia, as well as apple orchards and all other kinds of fruits. Do you have centaurs?

I'm not sure what sort; my father wrote.. or translated it, I'm uncertain of which. But when I tried to rip it apart, I was ushered into a frigid country within it.
