It seems there are many occasions today:
Valentine's Day, the
Lunar New Year, and the arrival of old friends.
I know which ones I will be celebrating.
[ooc: Requesting you don't tell him he's fiction or any spoilers past Prince Caspian. No doubles please!]

Date: 2010-02-15 02:56 am (UTC)Hello...Maewen. [Possibly stumbling over pronunciation of her name.]
I am Caspian.

Date: 2010-02-15 03:12 am (UTC)Hello, Caspian.

Date: 2010-02-15 03:17 am (UTC)I have never...been to Earth, I only know of it because a few friends of Narnia have come from there.

Date: 2010-02-15 05:10 am (UTC)What of Dalemark?
no subject
Date: 2010-02-15 05:21 am (UTC)Well, there's North and South Dalemark, with the mountains between them. The North is hilly while the south is more level. They used to be split, but they were unified by Amil the Great two hundred years ago. [A pause.] Oh, and...most people don't believe it anymore, but the Undying walk the land and care for it.

Date: 2010-02-15 05:38 am (UTC)What is the Undying?
no subject
Date: 2010-02-15 05:43 am (UTC)What are the Undying. Well, they're...they're sort of like people, only not. Only they are. They're not gods, but they're not quite human beings, and they're connected to everything around us. The One is part of the very land itself, and there's Cennoreth the Weaver, who weaves time with her loom, and Old Ammett, who's in the water and the wind... There's so many, I can't name them all.

Date: 2010-02-15 05:53 am (UTC)They sound like the dryads and the river god, and Aslan, the great lion himself. Although I do not know if he weaves, perhaps he doesn't have to.

Date: 2010-02-15 01:43 pm (UTC)Weaving doesn't sound like something a lion would do, or even be able to do, for that matter.

Date: 2010-02-16 02:21 am (UTC)Do you have lions in Dalemark? Or unicorns?
no subject
Date: 2010-02-16 02:25 am (UTC)We've got lions, but only in zoos. Unicorns are only fairy tales here--there.
