Not terribly, thankfully. In some societies it is still practiced, though those are quite rare nowadays. If one practices cannibalism, they are most likely mentally unwell.

Where I come from we do not eat Talking Beasts, much less any human.

Well, normally, we do not either. But some people can be mentally disturbed in a way that drives them to consume human flesh.

No not all of them, that's why there are beasts then there are Talking Beasts. A Talking Bear will be much larger than a mute bear, and even the smallest of Talking Bears will be the biggest of the mute ones.
