[Why yes. Yes it is.]

[BEEEEEEEEEEEP. Sultry woman's voice:]

He marvels at Caspian's easy manner for a moment, still feeling as awkward as ever. Edmund feels that he should be worrying- because his behavior was unwarranted towards the Telmarine who had simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"Even so, it was wrong." The Just states, his voice level. Out of the two Pevensie brothers, he is the one who would be more willing to give an apology- but only if he knows for sure that he has wronged someone.

He won't apologize to Peter. They still have their issues, no matter how semi-resolved the matter has become.

Apologies from Peter are a laughing matter, but he knows that man has it in him even if he never says it in words. Case in point, Peter has truly hurt Caspian only once. That time has passed complete with unspoken apology and unspoken forgiveness. It's just the way of things for them, perhaps for kings or boys in general. Edmund would know wouldn't he? Regardless of the place and time, he knows were he in their position he would have done quite the same. The Telmarine is just unfortunate to not have a glare quite as effective as theirs.

"I accept on the condition that you leave it where it lies," in other words alone, Caspian nods once. That's a good compromise isn't it? An apology for forgiveness and no mention of it again. It isn't worth it.

Good. Right, then. That's all, right?

Ed glances around the room and his eyes rest again on the model ship that Caspian's been building.

"You've got quite the passion for ships, don't you?" he leans a little to the side, the easy sort of teasing manner returning. It was better this way, if they didn't speak of it.

The boys of this household seemed to have their own language, one that only they could understand- silence and meaningful looks. He and Peter certainly relied on it.

How much do you know, King Edmund the Just?! Not that Caspian has any grounds for questioning, the younger brother's grip on subtlety is just as solid as his older sibling's. He glances to the ship then back to Ed. A passion for ships is fairly accurate, but it would be more proper to say he has a passion for exploration and adventure. What experience combines the two better than seafaring? Still, a passion for ships suffices. He smiles, a more casual manner returning opposed to the objectively diplomatic one.

"Yes, you can say that. We do not seem to care for the sea as much as we used to, for people who descended from sailors that is."
