It has been several days since I came face to face with this unusual situation. Now that I have had much time for deliberation, I think I can safely say...

Noah Bennet and I do not look anything alike.

I mean no offense to Mr. Bennet, of course.

As is yours. Where does it come from?

Thank you! It's Japanese, and means 'Waterfall Child.' Do you know what yours means?

That name certainly has meaning, Takiko... My name is that of my father and my father's father, I am the tenth of this name though I have heard of the Caspian Sea on Earth.

Thank you. Really? So it's a hereditary name, then. Where are you from, sir?

Yes, I am Caspian X and I am from a place called Narnia.

What's it like there?

Well... there are mountains to the north and south, beyond the southern ridges of Archenland is the arid country of Calormen, and to the east a great endless ocean.

What is Japan like?

It sounds beautiful!

Japan is an island, long and narrow. It was formed by a great chain of volcanoes, and there are more than a few still active, especially in the highlands. In the south it is temperate, and well there used to be forests. In the north, there are many mountains, and the climate is cooler. There are a few smaller islands that surround Honshu, the main one; most are inhabited.

An island, you must have many things there that I would never see in Narnia.

And likewise. The sakura--cherry trees are my favorite, though. In spring they bloom and while it only lasts a few days, there are festivals, and it looks like a painting.

It sounds lovely, Takiko. There are cherry trees in Narnia, as well as apple orchards and all other kinds of fruits. Do you have centaurs?

Date: 2008-10-05 11:45 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] baixin.livejournal.com
As does Narnia, sir. What is a centaur?

Date: 2008-10-05 11:47 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] treadingdawn.livejournal.com
A centaur is like... well, it is a human from the waist up and a horse from the waist down.

Truly? That sounds like quite the creature!

And there are minotaurs and dwarfs and gryphons.

I think I'd like to see those.

It sounds like an amazing place.

Perhaps one day you may find yourself there, just as I would hope to visit Japan sometime.

I hope you'd like the visit. I wonder if I could go there.

Japan is from Earth isn't it? A good handful of people from Earth have been to Narnia.

From: [identity profile] baixin.livejournal.com
That's correct. Really?! Do you know how they get there? By ship?

Or a book?

Sometimes all it takes is a doorway, Takiko.

[ooc: If he were updated to Voyage of the Dawn Treader he could say painting!]

A.. a door? Literally speaking?

[ooc: XD!!]

Literally speaking. That is how I found my way here.

From: [identity profile] baixin.livejournal.com
That's.. well. I've seen a book that can transport me to another world, a door shouldn't surprise me!
