Date: 2009-01-07 03:45 am (UTC)Usually he detects people at his door by the sound of their voice, and in doing so he would determine if they have the privilege of disturbing him at any given time or not. In this home where it's just the five of them, the response is almost automatic. Caspian minds not a Pevensie at his door, almost never. And anyway he isn't doing anything particularly questionable, just working on that model Susan gave him for Christmas. Really Caspian should be trying to get a job. Ah well.

Best to do this like ripping a bandage off, really.
"I'm sorry. For the other day." he sounds tired, weary, and a little bit sheepish as the younger Pevensie brother rubs the back of his head as he does when he's got nothing else to distract him.

He won't apologize to Peter. They still have their issues, no matter how semi-resolved the matter has become.

Date: 2009-01-07 04:15 am (UTC)"I accept on the condition that you leave it where it lies," in other words alone, Caspian nods once. That's a good compromise isn't it? An apology for forgiveness and no mention of it again. It isn't worth it.

Date: 2009-01-07 04:19 am (UTC)Ed glances around the room and his eyes rest again on the model ship that Caspian's been building.
"You've got quite the passion for ships, don't you?" he leans a little to the side, the easy sort of teasing manner returning. It was better this way, if they didn't speak of it.
The boys of this household seemed to have their own language, one that only they could understand- silence and meaningful looks. He and Peter certainly relied on it.
