Sep. 2nd, 2008 12:26 pmLet it be known.
I, Caspian X, have accomplished a feat that many doubted could be accomplished by my hand at all.
It required two and a half days of my time.

This victory calls for a celebration.
Doctor House, I request your audience with the Pevensies and myself to mark this momentous occasion. If you are so inclined, perhaps you will bring with you tacos and taquitos. I am more than willing to make tamales however I regret to inform you that we do not have anymore carnitas. Will pollo con chile verde suffice? I hope that does not disappoint you. Do not worry, there will be enough ice cold horchata for both you and Eden. And the centerpiece? A piñata in your likeness.
But I understand you have a particular lameness and may not complete the journey to our fiesta. In that case, I hope you accept the gift I had delivered to you late this morning. Enjoy it, mi hombre.

Date: 2008-09-02 11:32 pm (UTC)Pizza? It's been a while since we've had any.

Date: 2008-09-02 11:40 pm (UTC)That would be nice. I have heard you enjoy vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Date: 2008-09-03 03:14 am (UTC)[Maybe they'll find that shield in a pizza oven.]

Date: 2008-09-03 03:17 am (UTC)All right, let's go.

Date: 2008-09-03 03:23 am (UTC)Now? Shouldn't we ask if Ed and the girls want to come along?
[But he's already up and heading towards the closet.]

Date: 2008-09-03 03:26 am (UTC)[Because only Caspian, and soon Peter, make the bread in this household. What gives. He grabs his own jacket, less escapee, more casually BAMF.]

Date: 2008-09-03 03:35 am (UTC)We'll buy another one specifically for them.

Date: 2008-09-03 03:38 am (UTC)Knowing Edmund's appetite that would be prudent.
no subject
Date: 2008-09-03 03:43 am (UTC)We'll have to make sure he doesn't eat more than half.

Date: 2008-09-03 03:46 am (UTC)What is that called, rationing?
no subject
Date: 2008-09-03 03:51 am (UTC)I don't think rationing would be the best term for it. Pizza isn't scarce, or in high demand.
[walk walk.]
Restricting? If it isn't enough, we can always buy more.

Date: 2008-09-03 03:55 am (UTC)You have him on a meal course.
[Caspian says jokingly while a walking.]

Date: 2008-09-03 04:02 am (UTC)I don't. I'm just keeping things fair.

Date: 2008-09-03 04:05 am (UTC)I know you are.
[Neither facetious nor sarcastic as they enter City proper.]

Date: 2008-09-03 04:12 am (UTC)Is there any particular restaurant you prefer?
no subject
Date: 2008-09-03 04:14 am (UTC)[Because he is completely old school like that, venturing this way to a mom and pop place that would shame any modern day company.]

Date: 2008-09-03 04:20 am (UTC)no subject
Date: 2008-09-03 04:24 am (UTC)It's different when they do not treat you as a king.
[He mentions as an aside for Peter's ears only. Sit down, boy.]
no subject
Date: 2008-09-03 04:31 am (UTC)[Sitting! Caspian gets to choose the pizza this time.]
no subject
Date: 2008-09-03 04:33 am (UTC)I had that to begin with.

Date: 2008-09-03 04:39 am (UTC)[Menu glancing. He's thinking just how to phrase this.]
I meant a different sort of independence. Doing your own laundry, and such.

Date: 2008-09-03 04:44 am (UTC)I can do my own share of chores. Certainly I had always had gentlemen in waiting, but I refused to be doted or coddled.

Date: 2008-09-03 04:49 am (UTC)[Peter still bets Caspian can't fix a leaky pipe.]
no subject
Date: 2008-09-03 04:53 am (UTC)[Leaky pipe is likely something he'll leave to Peter.]

Date: 2008-09-03 04:59 am (UTC)[Anonymity though?]
I'd rather have respect for my actions and words, than just for my title. I wouldn't entirely agree with anonymity though.
